JOB DESCRIPTION:

UNDERWRITING:

General:

Processes, evaluates, analyzes and appropriately acts on Non-life insurance applications.

Particulars:

a. Prepares & Issues Non-Life Proposal/Quotations;

b. Issuance of Non-Life Policies;

• Private Car (PC)
• Commercial Vehicle (CV)
• Motorcycle (MC)
• Land Transportation Operators (LTO)
• Fire (F)
• Surety Bond (SB)

c. Prepares & Issues Non-Life Renewal Notice;

d. Provides assistance in handling the underwriting requirements of Marketing Officers, Agents and Cooperatives;

e. Issues Non-Life Policy Endorsement;

f. Assists in the Processing of Non-Life Premium Remittances;

g. Issues Premium Invoice;

h. Updates Non-Life Monitoring;

i. If necessary, conducts ocular inspection of the risk for underwriting and evaluation purposes;

j. Files and organizes the copy/duplicate of issued Non-Life Policies and Bonds;

k. Submits periodic reports as required;

l. Coordinates with other departments/marketing coordinator(s), if necessary, for reconciliation of accounts;

m. Monitors and ensures collection of issued nonlife policies particularly the outstanding premium receivable; and

n. Performs other task as required by immediate superior and/or higher management.

CLAIMS:

• Assists in processing motor car claims;
• Prepares claim register;
• Answers phones and directs all incoming calls to appropriate party promptly and efficiently;
• Proceeds immediately to the place of accident to conduct inspection advice by the Claimant;
• Coordinates and assists Insured in filing and submission of documentary requirements;
• Evaluates and determines the extent of loss incurred based on actual inspection of the damage unit;
• Negotiates with our accredited shop or car dealer/casa the submitted estimate by the Insured;
• Opens, files and fixes of documents submitted by the Insured;
• Checks and evaluates the authenticity and completeness of the documents submitted;
• Conducts actual and ocular inspection of the damage property;
• Checks and validates all claims of Home Protect calamity assistance; and
• Performs other task as may be required by immediate superior and/or higher management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be a graduate of any four-year course
• Experience with an insurance company is a plus
• Experience with non-life insurance products is a plus
• Certifications in non-life insurance is a plus
• Must be keen to details
• Must be computer literate
• Must be willing to work onsite in Davao City
• Must be willing to undergo training in our CDO Branch Office before being deployed to Davao City

IMPORTANT NOTE: SALARY IS NEGOTIABLE DEPENDING ON THE APPLICANT’S QUALIFICATIONS.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Php16,00.00 – Php20,00.00 per month
