Job Description

The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager is responsible for ensuring that products, processes, and services meet established quality standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements. This role oversees the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality management systems (QMS), audits, corrective action plans, and continuous improvement initiatives. The QA Manager works closely with cross-functional teams—including production, operations, R&D, and compliance—to maintain consistency, efficiency, and safety in all quality-related aspects of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Establish, monitor, and enforce quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Conduct and oversee internal and external audits, inspections, and compliance checks.
  • Review and approve quality control (QC) testing procedures, records, and reports.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformances.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on quality procedures, GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards (depending on industry).
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure raw materials and services meet quality requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and certifications (e.g., FDA, ISO, HACCP, GMP, local standards).
  • Prepare and present regular quality performance reports to senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.

QualificationsEducation & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Food Technology, Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong background in QMS, HACCP, GMP, ISO standards (9001, 2200, or industry-specific).

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (root cause analysis, risk assessment).
  • Effective leadership, coaching, and team management abilities.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and reporting).
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and QA-related software systems.

Certifications (Preferred/Optional)

  • Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).
  • HACCP, GMP, ISO Lead Auditor certifications.
  • White Belt/Yellow Belt Certification of Lean Sigma is an advantage.

Pay: Php40,00.00 – Php45,00.00 per month
