Job Description

Straightforward is looking for a Multimedia Artist – Video Specialist to craft emotionally resonant, platform-relevant video content that connects with our audience and elevates the brand’s storytelling. This role focuses on producing both short-form and long-form video content across various digital channels, helping define how Straightforward moves visually and emotionally.

Responsibilities

● Own the full video production process—from planning, shooting, to editing—for content across platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, IG Stories, and Facebook Reels.

● Produce 2 short-form videos daily, ensuring content is platform-optimized, engaging, and on-brand.

● Edit and deliver high-quality video content, applying strong narrative flow, visual pacing, and sound design.

● Create motion graphics and animated elements using After Effects or similar tools to enhance storytelling.

● Collaborate with the Brand Communications Team to bring creative concepts to life based on briefs, campaigns, and content calendars.

● Stay updated on visual trends, platform algorithms, and audience behavior to craft relevant and scroll-stopping content.

● Occasionally support photo editing or basic graphic design needs as part of cross-functional creative projects.

● Support or mentor team members on basic video production and editing workflows (a plus, but not required).

Requirements

● Strong experience in shooting and editing video content specifically for social platforms.

● Proven ability to produce at least 2 short-form videos per day, aligned with brand tone and social media best practices.

● Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Capcut, with working knowledge of After Effects and motion design.

● Knowledge of animation and basic 3D tools/workflows (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D, or similar) is a plus.

● Solid grasp of visual storytelling, video pacing, and editing for emotion and engagement.

● Familiarity with platform-native trends on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook—and how to translate them into creative content.

● Working knowledge of other Adobe Creative Suite apps (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) for supporting assets is a plus.

● Willingness to work on-site at the QUEZON CITY.
