Job Description

A Cashier in the retail and power tools industry is responsible for accurately processing sales transactions, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of tools and related products, and the ability to assist customers with questions about pricing, promotions, or returns. In addition to cashier duties, the cashier may assist with stocking, merchandising, and special assignments as delegated by store supervisors or managers.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Manage transactions using cash registers or POS systems.

· Scan products, collect payments, and issue receipts.

· Ensure pricing accuracy and handle returns or exchanges.

· Provide customer assistance and answer questions.

· Maintain clean and organized checkout areas.

· Count cash in the register at the beginning and end of shifts.

· Follow security and anti-theft policies.

· Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient store operations.

Qualifications:

· At least 6 months to 1 year experience in cashiering

· Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.

· Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle transactions efficiently.

· Honesty, reliability, and a positive attitude towards customer service.
