*Job Title:* Regulatory Assistant & Bidding Specialist – Ophthalmic Devices

*Department:* Regulatory Affairs / Tender & Bidding

*Location:* Makati, Philippines

*Reports To:* Head of Regulatory Affairs / Bidding Manager

*Job Summary:*

We are looking for a detail-focused and organized professional to support regulatory compliance and tender management activities for our ophthalmic medical device portfolio in the Philippines. The role requires coordination with internal teams and external authorities to ensure timely product registrations, renewals, and successful bid submissions to hospitals, eye care centers, and government institutions.

*Key Responsibilities:*

_Regulatory Assistant Duties:_

– Assist in preparing and submitting regulatory documents for ophthalmic devices (e.g., intraocular lenses, surgical instruments, diagnostic equipment) to Philippine FDA and other relevant authorities.

– Maintain and update product registration records, technical files, and regulatory trackers.

– Support license renewals, amendments, and post-market compliance activities.

– Monitor regulatory changes specific to ophthalmic devices in the Philippines and help implement necessary updates.

– Coordinate with quality, technical, and clinical teams to compile required documentation.

_Bidding Specialist Duties:_

– Prepare and submit tenders, bids, and proposals for ophthalmic equipment and consumables to hospitals, government institutions, and private eye care centers in the Philippines.

– Review tender specifications and ensure compliance with technical and commercial requirements.

– Work closely with sales, product, and finance teams to gather pricing, technical data, and supporting documents.

– Maintain a bid tracker, record outcomes, and follow up on awarded contracts.

– Stay updated on tender opportunities in the ophthalmic healthcare sector in the Philippines.

*Qualifications & Skills:*

– Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Optometry, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.

– 1–3 years of experience in regulatory affairs and/or bidding for medical devices (ophthalmic experience preferred).

– Familiarity with regulatory standards for ophthalmic devices (Philippine FDA, ISO 13485, etc.).

– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

– Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

– Proficiency in MS Office and document management tools.
