Who are we looking for:
As CRM Manager, you will spearhead the launch and ongoing management of the company’s loyalty program. This role is pivotal to accelerating customer acquisition, increasing visit frequency, and fostering long-term customer loyalty across our network. You will act as a visionary leader with a deep understanding of retail loyalty ecosystems, data-driven personalization, and cross-functional collaboration to drive measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Strategy & Management
- Launch Leadership: Own the end-to-end strategy, development, and successful launch of the loyalty program, ensuring alignment with Alfamart’s business objectives and brand values.
- Program Roadmap: Continuously evolve the program structure, benefits, tiers, rewards, and redemption mechanisms to maximize customer value and drive measurable business results (e.g., increased basket size, frequency, and retention).
- Technology & Infrastructure: Collaborate with IT and external vendors to select, implement, and optimize the necessary Loyalty/CRM technology stack (loyalty platform, campaign management tools).
2. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) & Personalization
- Data Strategy: Define the strategy for capturing, segmenting, and leveraging member data to develop highly targeted and personalized marketing campaigns across all touchpoints (in-store, app, SMS, email).
- Life-Cycle Marketing: Design and execute CRM campaigns focused on key customer segments, including onboarding, win-back, churn mitigation, and VIP management.
- Customer Insights: Work closely with the Data Analytics team to transform loyalty data into actionable customer insights that inform merchandising, store operations, and promotional strategies.
3. Financial Performance & Reporting
- P&L Ownership: Manage the budget and financial performance of the loyalty program, defining KPIs, setting targets, and analyzing the ROI of all loyalty initiatives and offers.
- Reporting: Establish robust reporting mechanisms to track key metrics such as Member penetration, Active Member rate, Customer Lifetime Value (CLV), redemption rates, and incremental sales driven by the program.
4. Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration
- Partnerships: Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships (e.g., financial services, SM Advantage) to enhance the perceived value and utility of the loyalty program.
- Operational Integration: Partner with Store Operations, Marketing, Merchandising, and Training teams to ensure flawless execution of the program and provide excellent member experience in-store.
What does it take to be part of the team?
- Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of progressive experience in Loyalty Program management, CRM, or Customer Marketing, preferably within the retail, FMCG, or financial services industries.
- Launch Expertise: Proven track record of successfully launching, rebranding, or significantly overhauling a large-scale retail loyalty program.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional data analysis skills and proficiency with loyalty platforms, campaign management tools, and data visualization software.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of retail economics, customer lifetime value models, and promotional ROI analysis.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
