Job Description

Primary responsibility is to efficiently oversee the quality and production of the assigned farms, while effectively managing the cost of production.

The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

PRODUCTION and DISTRIBUTION

1. Ensures that birds are raised in accordance with standard management practices.

2. Ensures that all bird houses are cleaned and in good condition. Inspects all facilities and equipment per bird house and ensure that all are in good condition and all are within the prescribed standards.

3. Recommends corrective measures to the Operations Manager on feeding and watering programs, sanitation, repenning and other flock management practices.

4. Distributes Medicine and Vitamins according to the Vaccination program or as prescribed by the Operations Manager/Veterinary.

5. Conducts vaccination to birds as prescribed by the Operations Manager/Veterinary.

6. Creates Feed and Medications Weekly Forecast Report for submission and approval of the Operations Manager

7. Monitors feed inventory level at the farm and coordinates delivery schedules with concerned sections to ensure sufficiency of feed supply.

8. Regular monitoring of the following Production parameters:

a. Daily Mortality Rate

b. Weekly Weighing and Uniformity

c. Daily Medication Status

d. Daily Feeding Status

e. Daily Flock Report per house

f. Daily Egg Production Performance

9. Monitors inventory of all assets, consumables (feeds, rice hull, charcoal), chicken by-products, chicken dung, farm equipment.

10. Monitors and ensures the overall Bio-security standards are met

11. Responsible for the overall security of the farm and all its occupants.

12. Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time

GENERAL ADMINISTRATION

1. Oversee infrastructure development and management, farm maintenance, safety, cleanliness and organization of the assigned farm.

2. Provide recommending approval to Purchase Requests of the assigned farm.

3. Ensure optimal performance of the team.

4. Provide management and mentoring to direct reports including regular performance review.

5. Conduct regular Farm meeting or whenever deem necessary.

6. Participate in regular farm leadership team meeting and full staff meeting

7. Submit operation reports as required by the Operations Manager
