Job Description

Job Summary

A Stock Inventory Associate in the retail and power tools industry plays a critical role in maintaining efficient stock flow, organizing inventory, and ensuring that merchandise—especially tools and heavy equipment—is safely and properly handled. The Stockman supports backroom and sales floor operations by receiving deliveries, restocking shelves, and assisting in inventory control. This position requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety. The Stockman may also assist with tasks assigned by supervisors to support overall store operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Organize incoming stocks in the warehouse
• Assist in preparation and packing of orders for delivery and shipment
• Organize and maintain the stockroom to ensure items are easily accessible
• Help in performing regular inventory counts
• Ensure the cleanliness and safety of warehouse environment
• Assist in loading and unloading deliveries as needed
• Follow warehouse safety protocols and operational procedures

Qualifications:

• At least senior high school graduate or college level
• At least 6 months to 1 year experience in sales
• Has ability to lift heavy items and perform physical labor
• Has strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Has basic understanding of inventory management and stock control
• Has ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
