Job Description
Our company is hiring an organized and experienced ACCOUNTING OFFICER to join our accounting team. As a part of this team, your main responsibilities will be analyzing and reviewing financial records and statements and monitoring the account activities of other departments. You will ensure compliance with accounting and tax laws and regulations, and maintain the confidentiality of client and company information.
Our ideal candidate should have exceptional verbal and written communication, auditing, mathematics, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
Accounting Officer Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare, analyze, and review financial records and statements
- Monitor account activities of other departments
- Manage and update account payables and receivables
- Ensure statement and record compliance with accounting and tax laws and regulations
- Maintain and prepare budgets and expenses
- Evaluate risks, procedures, and internal management systems
Accounting Officer Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage
- Working experience of at least three (3) years
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial processes and principles
- Strong attention to detail
- Mathematics and numerical skills
- Problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional analytical and auditing skills
- Organization and time management
