Job Description
The Accounting Officer will manage financial transactions and records for our manning agency, including journal entries, billing, accounts payable/receivable for crew costs, payroll and allotments, bank reconciliations, cash flow reports, and coordination with crewing, principals, auditors and government agencies. Responsibilities include invoicing, processing deployment expenses (medical, visa, airfare), monitoring budgets and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and maritime requirements. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, 1–3 years accounting experience (manning/maritime preferred), proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero/ERP) and Excel, and familiarity with payroll and statutory reporting. Full-time, in-person. Salary Php20,00–24,00/month with benefits and promotion opportunities.
