Job Description
The Logistics staff plays a crucial role in our operations, responsible for sending Request for Quotations (RFQ) to Forwarders and Courier Service providers. They summarize and analyze quotations to recommend the most economical option. This position also involves gathering shipment forecasts, planning shipments, and advising on the best transport modes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Send RFQs to reputable Forwarders and Courier Service providers.
- Prepare cost comparisons and recommend approval for the lowest bids.
- Update the list of Approved Forwarders and coordinate with Traffic billing.
- Analyze freight and handling expenses to identify improvement opportunities.
Work Hours: Full-time shifts (10 or 12 hours, day or night).
