Job Description
We seek an experienced Farm Equipment Manager to lead and mentor equipment operators and mechanics, overseeing inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to keep tractors, harvesters and other machinery safe and compliant. Manage inventory, parts, tools, purchasing and recommend upgrades; align equipment operation with planting/harvest schedules; use fleet management systems and analyze costs; enforce health, safety and biosecurity procedures; ensure licensure and training for team members; and respond to emergencies calmly. Required: deep knowledge of farm machinery, preventative maintenance planning, fleet software experience, financial negotiation skills and a valid driver’s license. Full-time, permanent; benefits included.
