Job Description
We are seeking a Water Supply and Wastewater Operations Specialist to operate, monitor, and maintain municipal water and wastewater treatment systems. Responsibilities include supervising treatment processes, performing routine sampling and lab tests, troubleshooting pumps and valves, operating SCADA, ensuring regulatory compliance and safety, coordinating maintenance and emergency response, and keeping accurate operational records. Qualifications: degree in environmental or civil engineering, water/wastewater technology, or equivalent; 3+ years’ experience; certified operator license preferred; strong mechanical, analytical, and communication skills; ability to work shifts and respond to incidents.
