Job Description
Join our dynamic finance team as a Cashier, where your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will play a vital role in ensuring smooth financial transactions and excellent client service. Key Responsibilities
1. Payment Handling & Receipting
- Receive and issue official receipts (OR) for cash, checks, and credit card payments.
- Accurately apply payments to client accounts in the system.
- Accept post-dated checks (PDCs) and provide acknowledgment receipts.
- Record PDCs in the system and assist with OR issuance requiring cross-unit coordination.
2. PDC Monitoring & Coordination
- Verify policy/invoice details through system inquiry upon PDC receipt.
- Encode all PDC data efficiently and accurately.
- Coordinate with the Credit & Collection Unit (CCU) for PDCs requiring clearance or approval.
- Ensure timely transmission of PDCs to Head Office within turnaround time (TAT).
- Regularly update and email the PDC Monitoring Report to PAU HO.
3. Report Preparation & File Management
- Prepare daily collection reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Upload required documents and reports to the End-of-Day (EOD) folder for review.
- Maintain organized and audit-ready financial records.
4. Bank Deposits & Recording
- Ensure all collections are properly deposited into the bank and recorded in the system without delay.
5. Tax Documentation (BIR Form 2307)
- Accept and process BIR Form 2307 certificates from clients.
- Apply and submit them in accordance with internal standards and tax timelines.
6. Petty Cash Management
- Perform daily petty cash counts aligned with vouchers and actual funds.
- Prepare and submit corresponding cash count reports with accuracy.
