Job Description:
The Accounting – Cashier role is responsible for accurately handling daily sales transactions, receiving customer payments, issuing official receipts, and ensuring proper recording of cash and card collections in a retail environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive cash, checks, and electronic payments from customers
- Issue official receipts and ensure accurate transaction posting
- Prepare daily sales and cash collection reports
- Balance the cash drawer and report any discrepancies
- Coordinate with accounting for deposits and documentation
Qualifications:
- At least a college level or a graduate of Accounting/Finance or any related course
- Experience in retail cashiering is an advantage
- Detail-oriented, honest, and customer-oriented
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and MS Excel
