Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for accurately processing customer payments, handling cash and electronic transactions, and ensuring timely and precise billing and sales reporting. Maintains an organized cashier station, delivers excellent customer service, and supports front-of-house operations to ensure smooth service flow and a positive guest experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Cash Handling & Payment Processing
- Process payments accurately via cash, cards, and e-wallets (GCash, PayMaya).
- Provide correct change and issue official receipts.
- Ensure fast and efficient transaction processing.
2. Guest Interaction
- Greet guests warmly and provide professional, friendly service.
- Address inquiries on charges, menu items, and concerns.
- Ensure a smooth and pleasant checkout experience.
3. Sales & Order Documentation
- Accurately punch and record all sales in the POS.
- Process discounts, promos, and coupons per company policy.
- Maintain complete and accurate sales documents and reports.
4. Cashier Station Maintenance
- Keep the station clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Maintain adequate change fund and follow cash-handling guidelines.
- Report discrepancies to Finance or FOH Supervisor/Manager.
- Secure sales cash pull-outs in the depository vault.
5. Team Collaboration
- Coordinate with FOH staff to ensure smooth service.
- Assist in guiding guests when needed.
- Communicate with kitchen and other departments for accurate order flow.
