Job Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Homeschool Teacher to provide academic instruction for a Grade 7 student, in a structured homeschool setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, prepare, and implement daily and weekly lesson plans aligned with the approved homeschool curriculum or program
• Deliver structured and engaging instruction appropriate for a Grade 7 level
• Customize lessons based on the student’s learning pace and educational needs
• Monitor academic progress and provide regular assessments and feedback
• Assign, review, and evaluate coursework and learning activities
• Maintain a disciplined, supportive, and positive learning environment
• Provide regular progress updates and communicate effectively with parents or guardians

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Teaching, or a related field (preferred)
• Proven experience teaching Grade 6 to Grade 8 students; homeschooling experience is an advantage
• Strong academic foundation in core subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies
• Demonstrated ability to independently create lesson plans and instructional materials
• Must possess excellent English communication skills, both written and oral
• Strong organizational, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with homeschool programs, alternative education models, or blended learning approaches is preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in one-on-one or small-group instruction
• Ability to incorporate structured, project-based, or experiential learning methods
• Proficiency in using digital learning platforms and educational tools

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid setup (combination of in-person and online instruction)
• 4 hours min. per day, weekdays
• Specific schedule to be finalized upon engagement
