Job Description
SMEC is seeking a qualified Resettlement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Social Science/Sociology, with advanced degrees being an advantage. Candidates should have experience in similar roles, particularly in infrastructure projects, with a minimum of three years of consulting experience.
Key responsibilities include coordinating the preparation of the Resettlement and Indigenous Peoples Plan (RIPP) and formulating humane relocation strategies for Project Affected People (PAPs).
