Marketing Director (Makati Campus)
Position Overview:
- The Marketing Director is responsible for developing and implementing brand strategies that enhance the visibility of the Mapúa School of Business, the School of Health Sciences, the School of Nursing, and the School of Medicine, all in collaboration with Arizona State University (ASU).
- This role supports enrollment targets by managing the upper marketing funnels (i.e., building awareness and generating interest) and strengthening stakeholder engagement.
- The position leads campaign management, digital execution, and creative services, ensuring that the university’s brand presence is consistent, compelling, and aligned with overall marketing objectives across Mapúa and Mapúa Malayan Schools. This position is suited for a mid-level professional with 7–8 years of relevant experience.
Strategic Marketing:
- New Program Strategy: Collaborate with the academic team on the pipeline for innovation and new programs. Ensure that academic offerings are positioned with clear value propositions, supported by digital exposure, employability, and global relevance, aligning with market demand, industry trends, and the Mapúa brand.
- Pricing & Value Positioning – Drive a competitive and value-based pricing model by benchmarking against defined competitors while highlighting the added value of ASU-powered credentials. Implement pricing strategies that balance accessibility, perceived prestige, and profitability, including scholarship and installment options.
- Budget Management – Oversee the annual marketing budget process and monitor spending against the allocated budget. Assist with the university’s budgeting and MYA process.
Brand Strategy Development for all relevant schools under the ASU partnership scope:
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines and assets – both Mapúa, Mapúa Malayan, and ASU.
- Ensuring complete ASU brand compliance, specifically ensuring marketing assets approvals.
- Plan and execute yearly brand campaigns aligned with marketing & enrolment goals
- Ensure brand consistency across internal and external communications.
- Lead the new programs launches
Campaign Management:
- Lead the execution of multi-channel brand campaigns (TV, digital, print, events) to drive awareness and engagement.
- Own digital strategy and execution to drive qualified leads across various online platforms, including paid media, display, social, and video.
- Oversee timelines, budgets, and agency deliverables.
- Lead Digital Marketing Manager and agency to optimize digital lead journeys and conversion paths.
Qualifications:
A. Education: Bachelor’s degree; certificates and trainings in digital marketing and digital transformation an advantage
B. Required Skills/Competencies:
- Strategic thinking (translating an organization’s short- and long-term goals into actionable marketing and enrolment activities)
- Analytical, yet creative (an understanding of setting and measuring organizational and marketing goals)
- Performance driven (build and lead a high performance team to meet the enrolment goals)
- Project management (effectively manage multiple projects, timelines, and relationships)
- Digital Marketing skillsets (digital advertising and performance marketing, content creation, SEO, social media, PR/media relations, etc.)
C. Work Experience: Preferably with 7 years of work experience in marketing and delivery of goals.
