Job Description
Job Position: Technical Chef / Baker
Work Schedule:
Monday to Saturday | 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Culinary Arts, Baking & Pastry, Food Technology, or any related course
- With experience in baking, pastry, or technical product application (advantage)
- Strong understanding of baking ingredients, formulations, and functionality
- Skilled in recipe development, testing, and standardization
- Knowledgeable in basic product quality testing and evaluation
- Able to analyze product performance and recommend improvements
- Confident in presenting and explaining product applications
- Comfortable participating in photo and video content for marketing purposes
- Creative, organized, detail-oriented, and results-oriented
- Able to work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Production teams
- Willing to travel to different locations as needed
Job Description:
- Conduct product application using various recipes and baking techniques
- Develop, test, improve, and standardize recipes based on customer needs and product objectives
- Perform product presentations and live demonstrations for clients, trainings, and company events
- Answer customer inquiries related to product usage, performance, and application methods
- Test and evaluate product quality, including texture, taste, appearance, shelf life, and performance in different applications
- Compare product performance versus alternatives and identify strengths and improvement areas
- Document test results, observations, and recommendations for product improvement
- Provide technical support to the Sales team during client meetings, product presentations, and demos
- Support the Marketing team by creating accurate and application-based content, including:
- Recipe and product usage ideas
- Step-by-step application guides
- Troubleshooting and best-practice content
- Before-and-after and comparison-based demonstrations
- Assist in planning content themes such as seasonal recipes, trend-based applications, and new product launches
- Participate in photo and video shoots by preparing products and explaining applications clearly
- Collaborate with Marketing, Production, and R&D to ensure consistency in product quality and messaging
- Travel with Sales and Marketing teams for demos, trainings, roadshows, and promotional activities as needed
- Maintain complete documentation of recipes, formulations, test results, and product application reports
