Job Description
The Credentialing Manager oversees provider enrollment, primary source verification, and re-credentialing processes to ensure compliance with payer, state, and accreditation standards. Responsibilities include managing credentialing workflows, maintaining CAQH and licensing records, coordinating privileging, conducting audits, resolving credentialing disputes, and preparing compliance reports. The role leads a small team, serves as the main liaison with payers and providers, and implements process improvements to reduce turnaround time. Requirements: bachelor’s degree, 3+ years in provider credentialing or enrollment, knowledge of NPDB, CAQH, and state regulations, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication and leadership skills.
